Jellystone Wine Country

Hey there Boo-Boo!

This is an adorable park!! We absolutely loved it! Holidays are where Jellystone parks shine. We went in October and they had so many fun Halloween and Fall activities. This park is sure to please for all age groups.

When we checked in we purchased "magic beans" we got to plant the beans in a designated "Pumpkin Patch". The next morning Boo-Boo Bear had turned them into pumpkins! It was so cool and the kids were so excited! Boo-Boo came out and helped you harvest your overnight pumpkin. They had supplies available for you to decorate your pumpkin for a contest later in the day.

Games and activities go on all day, all weekend long. Storytime with BooBoo, Charlie Brown under the stars, and games and crafts in the main hall, literally too many things to even list. Hey-Hey-Hayrides were a HUGE hit! Cindy comes out for a photo-op and then you tour all around the park . You got to see the animals on the ranch next-door and all the other decorated sites. We were only there for 3 days but it was an absolute blast!

The park had the pool open but not the splash area. It was a little chilly for the adults but the kids played. The park hosted a site decorating contest so the kids could go around and check out all the decorated sites and some sites had little treats for the kids. Several Jellystone staples, including the Jumping Pillow, mini golf, and no shortage of Yogi puns were also available.

This park is on the smaller side but all the sites were still a decent size. They have about a dozen tent camping sites with a shower house close by. Be sure to get there in the daylight, we came in at night and it was very dark and hard to see. The entrance to the park as a whole is also tucked back just enough that in the dark it is hard to see. All in all it was an easy park to pull in and out of with a 39 foot rig. The sites are not concrete but there are gravel paths throughout the park.

Staff was so sweet! We always love Jellystone parks and the staff is always so kind. They gave recommendations to several local restaurants and dog friendly places. Customer service is top notch!

This is an incredible dog and kid friendly park. It is exactly what you expect from everyone's favorite picnic basket thief. In preparation for a stay at Jellystone Wine Country in the fall I would recommend s'mores fixings and fire wood, some hot cocoa, your favorite cozy sweater and a good book!! It is such an amazing area and so quiet! The weather is probably going to be mid 70s but a little chilly after dark. (However this is Texas and there is no telling)

Jellystone Wine Country was an amazing time and we have already booked a trip for next November!! Thanks Yogi Bear for an awesome trip! See you soon!
